Role Play
I am currently active as Newbie wiz on All-Star MUSH, a branch
of DCU MUSH. I play the characters Midnight and Dr.
Fate. Here is a weblog
of some roleplay featuring me as David Clark (Midnight) and Sandy the Golden Boy
(sidekick of the Sandman). I also play Splitter (Arm-Fall-Off
Boy), Laurel Kent, and Whizzy
on Legion Outpost MUSH. Also
written for All-Star MUSH is a list of Golden Age Noncostumed
Feature Characters; I have included it here in case someone finds it useful
for fanfic or roleplay.
Occasionally on DCU we run Elseworlds TP's, which
could take place in the Victorian era, or with otherworldly heroes like those
from the Fawcett, Amalgam, or MLJ lines.
Another MUX with a contemporary theme is ZeroHour,
where until recently I played Jay Garrick and The
Penguin.
Other characters I play or have played on a variety of MU* include Action
Girl, Captain Marvel, Commander
Steel, Kid Marvelman, Liberty
Belle, Yankee Doodle and Young
Darkseid.
Highly recommended for all starting MUSH'ers is Amberyl's
MUSH Manual, which takes the user through standard commands and posing in
a clear and readable style. Useful for everyone from the novice to the wizard.
The Beginner's Guide to
MUSH is a slightly trimmed-down version which seems partially derived from
Amberyl's.
MU* Clients
for Various Operating Systems offers a variety of options to ease interface
with MU* programs.
