The Crime Crusaders Club HQ Lounge
The living room is like a lodge cluttered with knickknacks. A large stone
fireplace is the focus of the room. A shelf with various knickknacks and a
three-candle holder almost like a Menorah sits above the fireplace. There
are overstuffed easy chairs with wooden accents. The walls look like some
kind of geometric or parquet pattern in either tile or wood. There's at
least one painting, a group portrait of the CCC.
Contents:
Captain Marvel Jnr.
A tall, handsome youth in a tight-fitting blue costume emblazoned with a
yellow lightning bolt. A red cape with gold designs flows outward from his
costume, and he is wearing yellow boots.
Devil's Dagger
You see a man wearing a stylish navy blue tuxedo with a red cloak,
concealing his features behind a half-mask, which complements his elegant
top hat. He is carrying a crimson stiletto.
Kid Eternity
A teenaged boy, possibly around fourteen years of age, stands resolutely
before you. With a lopsided grin, he acknowledges your presence, but seems
to keep his attention mostly on the matters at hand. His dark, dark brown
hair is curly and completely unmanageable: a stylist's nightmare, but
quite to his advantage...he doesn't have to worry much about it. His eyes
are a light, preoccupied blue, with a twinkle telling you he's getting a
kick out of whatever it is that's going on.  His costume is simple; it
consists of a white turtleneck, a black sash belt somewhat akin to the
golden ones of the Marvel family, and white trousers. A pair of black
boots both functionally and aesthetically complete his outfit...he wears
no mask.
Master Man
You see a very tall man with a muscular, well-defined body. His face is
startlingly handsome, with wavy blonde hair, yet there is a slight leer
about the mouth and he carries himself with an unmistakable air of
arrogance and superiority. He is wearing a bright blue tunic and red
tights, with black boots and a belt on which is emblazoned a small "M".
Mystic Moot
You see a man in a black suit with a white shirt and black tie, short
rather than tall, but perfectly proportioned from narrow shoes to
scarlet-turbaned head. The most prominent feature of his face is his long,
thin nose.
Spy Smasher
You see a man, his face a shadowy silhouette beneath an aviator's helmet
with goggles, the goggles again serving as a mask beneath which his nose
is straight as a wing's leading edge. He is wearing a bright green
aviator's suit; his tunic is decorated with a diamond-shaped chest emblem
which matches his red cloak. A broad belt and military boots of the same
shade of brown complete the costume.
Master Man looks around. "Mite, I say mite hospitable of the Crime
Crusaders Club to open up their team to general membership, but I'm
surprised more of them aren't here ... where are your teammates, Junior?"
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Busy elsewhere, as far as the rest of the
CCC..."
Mr. Scarlet has arrived.
Mr. Scarlet
You see a man in blood-red hood, gloves, boots, and bodysuit with silver
trimming. He is wearing a yellow belt and cape.
Devil's Dagger says "Who are you?"
Master Man says "Why, I recognize the inimitable Mr. Scarlet."
Mr. Scarlet says "Hello, Master Man."
Mystic Moot looks around at the assembled heroes stoically.
Captain Marvel Jnr. nods to Mr. Scarlet.
Mr. Scarlet nods back.
Spy Smasher walks into the room and drops into a seat, "Nice place you've
got here."
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Thanks."
Mystic Moot looks at the group portrait curiously. "I didn't recall you
were a member of the Crusaders, Mr. Scarlet?"
Kid Eternity flumphs back into the couch, watching the proceedings with a
bit of a grin.
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Mr. Scarlet occasionally fills in for me."
Mr. Scarlet says "Right."
Devil's Dagger lingers in a shadowy corner.
Spy Smasher says "This is my first visit to your humble abode."
Mr. Scarlet says "So, why have we all been called together?"
Master Man looks at Cap Jr. "Why, I assumed it was something of a
housewarming, is that not the case, son?"
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Yes, sir ... as far as I know."
Mystic Moot says "You did say it was curious that Minute Man and Bulletman
and Bulletgirl were not present, Master Man ... though I suppose it is a
rare treat to have both Captain Marvel Jnr and Mr. Scarlet here to grace
our presence."
Mary Marvel has arrived.
Mary Marvel
The beautiful Mary Marvel is a tall, capable-looking young woman, her dark
brown eyes soft, but showing the glint of steel behind them. She wears a
red knee-length dress with a golden sash tied at the waist, matching the
golden trim on the sleeves and at the hem. A bright yellow lightning motif
adorns the front of her loose blouse boldly, and a white half-cape is
secured at her neck by a golden cord. On her feet are yellow boots that
reach approximately mid-calf, and her dark brown hair flows freely down
her back.
Master Man grins. "And speaking of grace ..." He takes Mary Marvel's hand.
"And to what, I say, to what do I owe the honor of this vision of beauty?"
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Hi Mary"
Pushing the door open, Mary peers in, and raises her eyebrows. "Hiya,
Junior." She looks around, entering the rest of the way, then allows her
hand to be taken by Master Man, and smiles graciously. "I saw a young man
pedaling a bicycle very fast on his way here...then heard some familiar
voices."
Spy Smasher crosses his arms, obviously waiting for something to happen.
Master Man bends down to kiss Mary's hand.
Mary Marvel blushes slightly, averting her eyes.
Captain Marvel Jnr. lounges in a chair.
There is a knock on the door.
Kid Eternity raises his eyebrows, grinning widely, then looks toward the
door.
Mystic Moot says "It seems our visitor has arrived"
Spy Smasher says "Visitor?"
Captain Marvel Jnr. goes to the door and opens it..
A young boy enters the room, obviously exhausted from his bicycling.
Mary Marvel seats herself on a nearby chair, crossing her legs. "And that
would be him."
Captain Marvel Jnr. offers the kid a seat.  "Why don't you take a load off
and tell us what's up?"
The young boy nods, looking at Cap intently, and takes a seat, catching
his breath. "Ah ... *gasp*"
Spy Smasher straightens slightly, "Spit it out kid."
The young boy says, "Mah name's Billy Batson. Ah've come here cause ah
need yer help."
Captain Marvel Jnr.hms.
Kid Eternity says nothing.
The young boy says, "Ah was a radio assistant to th' Malcolm Scientific
Expedition seekin' knowledge of the ancient Scorpion Dynasty in a remote
island near Siam, zealously guarded by unconquered tribes. The Dynasty was
believed tuh have had, in th' misty past, incredible sciences that far
surpassed 20th century technology. When th' group reached their
destination, they uncovered th' local remains of a forbidden tomb held
sacred by the' local natives who warned that a curse of death would befall
anyone who dared tuh enter it. Ah declined tuh join th' expedition in
breakin' into th' forbidden tomb."
Mr. Scarlet is growing noticeably impatient.
Mystic Moot says "The Scorpion Dynasty, you say? This does not bode well."
The young boy nods to Mystic Moot. "No suh, not well at all."
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Holy Moley! A death curse."
The young boy says, "Th' expedition had discovered a scorpion statue with
five lenses in its moveable claws -- five lenses which, when they was
lined up, can turn base metals intuh gold! Th' lenses was divided among
th' four scientists in th' group and me fur safekeepin' and thuh members
of th' expedition returned home. Everything appeared normal -- but one by
one th' scientists was killed by freak accidents with unusual frequency:
sudden explosions, poison darts thrown in th' dark, runaway automobiles,
planes falling out of control. Although a lens always disappeared with
each accident, which everyone assumed was caused by a curse, ah soon
learned otherwise. A ruthless gang of varmints was responsible, called th'
Sign of th' Scorpion."
Devil's Dagger says "A curse is something not to be taken lightly, my
young friends."
Mr. Scarlet says "Really Dagger? Thanks for pointing that out."
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "I sure don't take 'em lightly"
Spy Smasher grips his hand into a tight fist, "Sounds like we've got some
evil to smash!"
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "And now this gang is after you then, Billy?"
The young boy shakes his head at Devil's Dagger, "We know that now, suh.
Ah gathered the Sign of the' Scorpion was after me next, so Ah led 'em
here ... where Ah was hopin' th' CCC would be around, and Ah was right!"
Mary Marvel mmns. "And you'd better stick with us, Billy."
From outside the house, there is a sudden explosion.
Kid Eternity jumps up! "That's our cue!"
Spy Smasher jumps to his feet and pulls out his gun, "Let's get moving!"
Master Man whirls around. "It looks, I say, it looks like you were right,
son. It's time, I say, it's time to spring your trap! Good going, son!"
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Let's get those thugs!"
The Crime Crusaders Club Headquarters, Fawcett City, Indiana
You see a small private house, innocent looking on the outside. An
ordinary house, an unimportant house! But within it houses a galaxy of the
world's most famous fighters! The exterior is a small, wooden cottage in a
colonial style behind a large tree with shrubs along one side of the
house. There is a front door with a triangular frontispiece across the top
of it. The door is wood like the rest of the house, but it's done in a
lighter color. Looks like a mailbox is on the upper right of the door
frame. To the right of the door is a window that sticks out like a
breakfast nook or an alcove. On the side of the house the roof raises up
into a triangle with carved wood accents along the edge of the roof.
Another outward poking window like a breakfast nook sits just under the
raised roof. This window is partially obscured by the shrubs.
Contents:
the Scorpion
You see a mysterious figure clad in a black cloak, his features hidden by
a long black hood.  On the forehead of the hood is embroidered a golden
scorpion, matched by two identical designs on each shoulder of the robe.
the Brute
You see a brawny bruiser, built like a gorilla, with close-cropped orange
hair and a day's worth of beard stubble.  He is wearing a pale yellow
short-sleeved shirt, raisin-colored trousers, and heavy workman's boots.
Captain Nippon
You see the champion of Japan, wearing an officer's uniform with a rising
sun emblazoned on his chest.  He sports a black crewcut; his slanted eyes
peer back at you and his mouth appears to be fixed in a permanent scowl.
Corporal Hitler Jr.
You see a young teenager with scruffy black hair and a contemptuous leer
gracing his features.  He is wearing a black bodysuit with a golden
swastika on the chest, a matching sash around his waist which has a buckle
with a swastika inscribed, and wrapped cuffs on both sleeves.  A bright
red cloak swirls about him dramatically, held in place by a gleaming gold
cord at his throat, a cord that joins matching material on the cape edges.
He wears yellow boots with cuffs turned down at the ankles.
the Flame
You see a man wearing a yellow asbestos suit, with a red visor and gloves.
He carries an odd-looking weapon, similar to a flame-thrower.
Hog Benhenry
You see an enormous man with a barrel-shaped body and hands that look as
if they could crush your skull with ease.  He has an animalistic face with
a broad nose and a mouth curved down in a brutal grimace with two small
pointed tusks visible from his lower jaw.  He is almost bald save for a
few tufts of black hair, but his long beard is full and his small piglike
eyes are dwarfed beneath shaggy brows.  He is wearing what appears to be a
modified eighteenth century military uniform in complementary hues of
green.  Around his waist is a leather belt with a lightningbolt-shaped
buckle, and from the side of the belt hangs a large sword.  Mist seems to
rise from his body as he moves.
Mr. Macabre
You see an extremely tall man wearing an expensive navy suit.  His
features are long and narrow, with a pointed chin and a scruffy mustache
which tends to give him a sinister appearance.  He also wears a matching
slouch hat and long cloak.
Nightowl :
You see a bespectacled man wearing an orange suit and black tie.  His hair
is somewhat pointy.
Mr. Puny
You see a man who is 5'2" and completely bald, with spectacles which give
him a professorial look. He is wearing a white silk shirt, plum-colored
jacket and slacks, immaculately shined black leather shoes, and a green
tie.
Sabbac
You see a tall man with a lean build, but who moves with obvious power.
He is completely bald, and his face seems filled with malice.  He is clad
in a simple long-sleeved dark green robe with a collar, and dark green
slippers folded over at the ankles.
Master Man says "Well I say, an uglier group of faces I haven't seen since
the last hog-throwing contest down home."
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "I recognize a few of these goons"
Dropping into a defensive stance, Mary gazes at the lineup, and nods in
agreement with Master Man. "I couldn't agree more."
The Scorpion says, "So, the child thought to lead us into a trap! Well, I
have not come unprepared."
Spy Smasher snarls, "Well, well, well, if it isn't my old friend Captain
Nippon! Here to get beat again?"
Kid Eternity snickers. "Good glory, what a pathetic bunch of idiots." He
looks around, then appears to be talking with the air next to him.
Captain Nippon narrows his eyes at Spy Smasher. "You white devils think
all of us look the same ... I have never met you, though I know that foul
boy-child, Captain Marvel Jnr."
Mr. Scarlet slowly leaves the group.
The Brute rasps, "Oh, a wise guy!". Not quite realising just whom he is
facing, he leaps forward and swings at the crimson figure a hay maker that
might have broken the neck of an ordinary man. The blow lands solidly on
Master Man's chin. Its only effect is to make the Brute yell in pain as
his knucklebones are crushed.
Captain Marvel Jnr. scowls at Captain Nippon.
Kid Eternity shakes his head sadly at Cap Nippon. "No, we don't think you
all look the same. I think, in fact, that you're particularly repulsive.
I'm sure Cap Jr. agrees."
Captain Marvel Jnr. nods.  "They don't get much uglier"
Master Man murmurs, "Tit for tat, son" and, smilingly pleasantly, he
shoots his fist out at the Brute's chin like a steam-driven piston.
The Brute sails backwards through the air, landing among the Sign of the
Scorpion, and piling them all upon the grass.
Mary Marvel laughs! "It's the Keystone Kops!"
Devil's Dagger prepares to attack the Scorpion.
Captain Marvel Jnr. clenches his fist, jaw jutting out heroically ...
going into a full thrust power dive at Captain Nippon.
Devil's Dagger attempts to dazzle the Scorpion with knife mock attacks
while punching him in the bread basket.
Devil's Dagger says "The best way to deal with a snake is to cut it off at
the head!"
Mr. Scarlet says "You all seem a bit overly confident...."
Kid Eternity raises an eyebrow, mutters something under his breath, then
yells, "Eternity!" He raises his hands for effect, grinning wildly, then
intones, "Cyclops..." He sends the beast after the Brute.
Mary Marvel tilts her head slightly, then sighs. "I hate to do this...but
we can't have you running around being a pain in the neck!" She pulls a
fist back, and uses the speed of Mercury and the strength of Hercules to
try and wonk Nightowl on the jaw.
Mr. Scarlet punches the Scorpion.
Mystic Moot says "Calm yourself! I shall take a hand in this irksome
situation!"
Mystic Moot looks cross-eyed at his nose (which is now vibrating) and
instructs it: "Magic Snoot, turn this bicycle into an motorcycle to attack
Hog Benhenry!" At these words, the bicycle roars into life and attacks the
big man.
Spy Smasher leaps forward and swings an uppercut at Corporal Hitler Jr.
Master Man runs like a whirlwind at Sabbac, intending to take him out
before he knew what hit him.
Mr. Scarlet kicks the Scorpion in the head.
The Flame, Mr. Macabre, and Mr. Puny block Devil's Dagger and Mr. Scarlet
from attacking ... they are caught in a flame-out and Mr. Puny and Mr.
Macabre attack menacingly.
Mr. Scarlet manages to take something out of his belt...
Captain Nippon is knocked down by Cap Jnr.'s blow, but not out ... he
seizes the boy and uses his momentum to slam him into the ground.
Mary Marvel yells, "Hey! Leggo of Junior!"
Captain Marvel Jnr. oofs.
The Brute manages to recover from the blow, and sees the Cyclops advancing
on him ... and runs in terror!
Kid Eternity snickers. "Coward."
Nightowl blasts Mary with his Darkflash  and she is blinded before she
can hit him.
Hog Benhenry says, "My mother was a freak weather condition called
Hurricane Tracey. I didn't have a father." He grabs the attacking
motorcycle effortlessly and energy flashes from his body, destroying it.
Sabbac meets Master Man head on, chopping him in the throat. He says,
"Fool, I have been given the invincible strength of Satan, the
indestructible body of Any, the evil wisdom of Belial, the flame powers of
Beelzebub, the evil courage of Asmodeus, and the power of flight of
Craeteis ... who are you to stand before me?"
Staggering back, Mary only struggles to keep her balance, as she reacts
with a startles yell.
Corporal Hitler Jr. blocks the uppercut and tosses Spy Smasher down. "Ha!
It looks like the spy smasher smashed!"
Spy Smasher says "Nice try Ratzi, but why not try this?"
Mr. Scarlet looks around...
Captain Marvel Jnr. staggers to his feet.  "It's gonna take more than that
to keep a Marvel down, pal!" Moving with the speed of Mercury, he attempts
a grapple with the evil Captain.
Master Man coughs, caught by surprise, he gasps for breath.
Devil's Dagger attacks the opposition that blocks him from his prey,
including stabbing through a foe's wrist joint.
Mystic Moot raises an eyebrow. "So, it seems you shall require the full
mystic might of my magic snoot!"
Mr. Scarlet throws a smoke bomb in Mr. Puny's face, and kicks him in the
face, breaking his glasses.
Spy Smasher kicks at the Corporal's stomach from his prone position.
Kid Eternity hmms. He glances at Mary, then at Mr. Puny...and sighs. He
focuses in on Nightowl. "Eternity," he starts, concentrating. "Give me
Apollo, will you? Nightowl isn't treating the lady correctly."
Mary Marvel pauses, trying to keep herself out of the way until she can
see again. She's actively dodging, as it were...using hearing to at least
not get killed.
Master Man grunts out, "You ... think ... you're so tough ... but I have
taken every vitamin known to man! No man is stronger than Master Man!" He
starts to wrestle with Sabbac.
Mystic Moot gestures magically. "Magic Snoot, turn my enemy's lightning
into feathers!"
Captain Nippon wrestles to his best ability with Captain Marvel Jr. but is
slowly overpowered ...
Mr. Macabre screams as Devil's Dagger impales his wrist, and the Flame
blasts Devil's Dagger head-on with his flame-thrower.
Mr. Puny blinks. "I can't see! Those were good glasses!" He feels his way
to Mr. Scarlet and with amazing strength, picks him up and spins him
around in circles.
Devil's Dagger attempts to roll out of his flaming jacket.
Mr. Scarlet screams.
Corporal Hitler Jr. ooofs at Spy Smasher's attack, then leaps forward and
slams him.
Spy Smasher snarls, "It'll take more than that to stop me Ratzi kid!"
The god Apollo shines his light on Nightowl, who screams, "Aaah! the
light! the light! make it go away!" He raises his hands to protect his
eyes vainly.
Hog Benhenry almost laughs, as feathers droop off his body. "That is your
great attack? I will tear that nose of yours clear off!"
Hog Benhenry starts to advance on Mystic Moot like an unstoppable force.
Bulletman flies in from the sky at full speed to for a full body tackle of
Sabbac!
Bulletman
Wearing his helmet of antigravity metal, Bulletman really soars. He is
wearing a crimson tunic and golden flight trousers with his brown leather
boots.
Captain Marvel Jnr. presses his attack on Captain Nippon.  "Lights out,
creep!"
Devil's Dagger recovers his weapon from Macabre's wrist and attempts to
cut the fuel line on the flame weapon.
Mary Marvel slowly recovers her sight; the more she can see, the more she
can attack. She takes advantage of the Owl's disadvantage, and tries once
more to clock him, this time while he's dealing with the light.
Kid Eternity mmns, and mutters, "Eternity..." He glances at the remaining
villains, and focuses in on the Flame. "Send me Jadis, for her ice.."
Master Man joins with Bulletman in the attack on Sabbac. "I am stronger
than untamed horses! swifter than raging winds! Braver than mighty lions!
Wiser than wisdom, kind as Galahad! I will destroy your evil instantly!"
Mr. Scarlet, in a singular acrobatic feat, manages to flip out of Mr.
Puny's grasp, and before Mr. Puny can react, kicks him hard in the solar
plexus.
Mystic Moot says "Magic Snoot, make the Earth arise before my foe to stop
him!"
Spy Smasher leaps to his feet and roars, "Time to smash evil!" he grabs
for Corporal Hitler Jr. and attempts to smash him to the ground.
Captain Nippon is taken out by Captain Marvel Jnr.
The Flame gasps as his flame line is cut. Then he is suddenly frozen by a
wave of Jadis's wand.
Nightowl sees stars, then darkness. He's out.
Mr. Puny oofs, but is unharmed ... he thrashes about randomly, striking
Mr. Scarlet with his puny (but powerful) fists.
Sabbac bursts into flame, singing Bulletman. The flame doesn't bother
Master Man but Sabbac continues to battle him with strength that matches
his own.
Bulletman does a tuck and roll to keep from igniting.
Hog Benhenry is stumped briefly by the Earth that arose before him, but
smashes it with a wave of his hand. "I am Light and Sky, do you think
Earth is any challenge to me?"
Corporal Hitler Jr. aarghs as Spy Smasher takes him down, but suddenly
draws a gun, firing it at his opponent, winging his helmet.
Spy Smasher laughs, "Best you can do kid? Try fighting like a man!"
Jadis looks around her. She sneers, "So, I am called upon to do the petty
work of a son of Adam? I think not!" With a wave of her wand, Mary Marvel
is encased in magic ice!
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Mary!"
Bulletman sees that an attack against Sabbac is only gonna get him burned
so turns to look, and decides to try his hand at freeing Mary. He flies at
Jadis to knock her out, quickly.
Kid Eternity facepalms. "Good /grief/..."
Captain Marvel Jnr. turns his attention to Corporal Hitler Jr...attempting
to knock the gun out of his hand.
Devil's Dagger sticks the Hog with his pig poker, not to kill, just to
take some of the fight out of him.
Kid Eternity hopes Jadis disappears soon, and shakes his head. He quickly
says, "Eternity," then looks at Hog Benhenry. "/Woden/. You want
lightning? Thunder? Strength? Sky?"
Master Man attempts to head-butt Sabbac. "Your power is nothing but evil,
and you shall, I say, you shall never conquer good!"
Mr. Scarlet takes advantage of Mr. Puny's vision problems, quickly gets
behind him, and lands a stinging blow directly to the base of his spine.
Mystic Moot says, "Very well then ... I will fight fire with fire!" His
nose gestures magically. "Mystic Snoot, let the heavens call down
lightning on my enemy!"
Spy Smasher swings both of his fists down towards Corporal Hitler Jr.'s
head, "Time for you to get some sleep!"
Jadis gasps in shock as Bulletman seizes her wand, then she and the wand
evaporate into the mists of legend.
Corporal Hitler Jr. is distracted as Cap Jr. knocks his gun free, then he
is finally smashed by Spy Smasher.
Hog Benhenry laughs uproariously at the ineffectiveness of Mystic Moot's
summons. Then he "Urks!" as Devil's Dagger pokes him, and turns around,
massive hands reaching for Devil's Dagger's head ...
Mr. Puny erfs. "That ... hurt ..." He finds it hard to move, but his hand
reaches out and grabs Mr. Scarlet's ankle in a death-grip.
Devil's Dagger attempts to evade the blow.
Mr. Scarlet is impressed by Mr. Puny's stamina.
Bulletman just realized what he did, and is amazed. "Sometimes I do it
right on the second try." Bulletman grins.
Sabbac recoils, his bald head no defense against Master Man's attack, but
he uses the flight of Craeteis to take his foe airborne.
Captain Marvel Jnr. hi-fives Bulletman.
The heavens part, and the grey figure of Woden appears. He stares down at
Hog Benhenry balefully from his one good eye. "You try the patience of the
gods, child." With a sweep of his walking staff, Hog Benhenry is gone with
a scream.
Kid Eternity steps back slightly, conferring with the open air. He rubs
his chin, watching Woden's work, and raises his eyebrows. "Ooh. Yeah. That
was a /good/ one."
Mr. Scarlet kicks Mr. Puny's hand away, and then kicks him in the skull.
Spy Smasher applauds at Woden's appearance, "I give that one a 10 for
style!"
Bulletman says "Cap? Any ideas for the best way of taking old fire head
out?"
Captain Marvel Jnr. whispers something to Bulletman.
Kid Eternity looks at Scarlet, narrowing his eyes slightly. "You kill?" he
asks casually.
Bulletman says "Or should we try to free Mary? She's probably out for
awhile though"
Spy Smasher moves next to Kid Eternity.
Devil's Dagger attempts to disable Mr. Puny with a uppercut to his chin.
Mr. Scarlet says "Don't worry....that was just to knock him out....if I
wanted to kill him, I would have kicked him above his nose."
Kid Eternity shakes his head ruefully at Bulletman. "She's definitely out
for a while. I shouldn't have messed with Jadis."
Master Man continues to wrestle with Sabbac, ignoring the heights they are
at as they scale to the stratosphere.
Bulletman sighs.
Kid Eternity hmms at Spy.
Mystic Moot whews. "Thank you, lad ... that foe was beyond my mystic
skills, I fear."
Bulletman says "So, should we all gang up on old Sadsack,... er...
BadCap....er...?"
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Yes, let's get Badhat"
The Scorpion sneaks up behind Bulletman and attempts to pistol-whip him
with the Flame's flame-gun.
Spy Smasher says "I thought his name was Baldac"
Mr. Puny grunts in pain from the continued attacks, blood pours down his
face, but he grabs Mr. Scarlet again and tosses him at Devil's Dagger,
knocking them both down ... he pauses, gasping in exhaustion and pain.
Mr. Scarlet says "You OK, Devil's Dagger?"
Sabbac wrestles with Master Man ... then soars straight *down* at top
speed ... before he hits the ground he flings Master Man free, who hits
the ground causing a massive crater. Sabbac then alights on the ground
again, leering at the assembled heroes over the unconscious body of Master
Man.
Mr. Scarlet says "Now, I'm getting angry...."
Bulletman flies high and does a flip back to the ground, stopping just
before he hits, hoping he can wrench the Scorpion free.
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Let's team up on Saldac, Bulletman!"
Spy Smasher fires his pistol at Sabbac, "Eat lead, evil!"
Captain Marvel Jnr. launches his attack.
Mr. Scarlet runs back to Mr. Puny, grabs his head, and smashes it
repeatedly against the ground, until his blood soaks into the ground.
Devil's Dagger attacks Mr. Puny very violently.
The Scorpion is smashed to the ground by Bulletman, he's dazed.
Sabbac oofs as Captain Marvel Jnr. flies into him, but bashes him away. He
laughs as the bullets bounce off his chest.
Mr. Scarlet takes a thin needle out of his belt and inserts it in a spot
between Mr. Puny's neck and back, causing a great deal of pain, then jerks
it around.
Spy Smasher turns his head, "Kid, try getting someone here to take this
monster out!"
Mr. Puny grabs Mr. Scarlet's hood and yanks him aside. "That's the one I
want! that brat!" He runs towards Kid Eternity, and closes his fists
around his throat.
Kid Eternity scowls. "You /jerk/." He steps over to Master Man, checking
to see if he's okay, then looks back up at Sabbac. "Eterni..." starts the
boy, eyes angry and focused on the behemoth.  He suddenly gets cut off,
unable to breathe, unable to speak..!
Bulletman yells, "Spacbac! You can't catch ME!"
Mr. Scarlet takes a rope and lassos Mr. Puny, drawing him back.
Mr. Scarlet says "Not yet, Puny."
Spy Smasher sees Mr. Puny running towards Kid and attempts to flatten him
with a quick shot at the jaw.
Mr. Scarlet kicks him in the shins.
Mr. Scarlet says "What exactly is your tolerance for pain, Puny?"
Mr. Scarlet then moves back, kicking Mr. Puny in the stomach repeatedly...
Mr. Scarlet says "What will it take to break you?"
Mr. Puny manages to chokes Kid Eternity to near-unconsciousness before he
can finish saying "Eternity" but is finally brought down by the combined
attacks.
Mystic Moot snaps his fingers. "Mystic Snoot, make Sabbac's mouth speak
his name!"
Sabbac is appalled to find himself saying, "Sabbac!" And he is even more
appalled to find himself transformed back into normal Timothy Kames.
Captain Marvel Jnr. says "Ho ho! Not so tough now, are we"
Captain Marvel Jnr. quickly rushes in to muffle Kames *before* he says the
word again.
Kid Eternity sits grumpily on the ground, rubbing his throat.
Timothy Kames agcks!
The Scorpion, seeing himself defenseless, yells, "Aaaaaaaaaah!" and runs
away!
Spy Smasher fires a shot at the Scorpion's legs.
The Scorpion screams, and falls to the ground, clutching his leg.
The young boy peeks his head out from inside the CCC HQ. "Is it safe yet?"
Bulletman hmms... "You people really didn't need my help. You fight well
together."
Spy Smasher runs forward, grabs the Scorpion and yanks off his hood, "So
who are you?"
The young boy runs forward. "He's ... he's Dr. Malcolm! The one who
finahnced th' expedition!"
Mr. Scarlet kicks Mr. Puny in the ribs one last time, just for all the
trouble he's put us through.
Spy Smasher chuckles, "No, Billy boy, he's a prisoner."
The Scorpion scowls. "Yes, you foolish boy. And had I managed to retrieve
the last of the magic lenses, I would have been able to create enough gold
to rule the world!"
Spy Smasher says "The only doctoring he'll be doing is to the rock pile.
For the next 20 years."
